BioBlitz to be held at College Farms trail

Come join us as we attempt to identify and record all species of living organisms found at College Farms. PLT is having four seasonal BioBlitz’s at College Farms throughout the up coming year to help increase the public’s awareness of the variety of life in their immediate neighborhood. It is hoped that this field study will help highlight the positive impact and importance of open spaces within our community.No special skills are needed to participate. This event is open to all ages. No pets please. The BioBlitz will be lead by PLT Board Member John Triana who is also a Board Member of the New Haven Bird Club. Upcoming BioBlitz events will be held in late June/ early July for the summer; 3^rd or 4^th week of September for the fall and some time between Christmas/ New Year for the winter. College Farms public access and parking is available at the end of Yale Farms Lane, Prospect. Hope to see you there!
