Prospect Land Trust's 6th Annual Trails Day Celebration!
Joins us in Celebrating the Great Outdoors meet hike leader Lisa
SanSoucie on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 2pm-4pm at PLT's Kathan Woods property located at the end of Boardman Drive cul-de-sac off Plank Road
(which turns off Route 68, nearly 1 mile west of the Route 68 and Route
70 junction). The hike will explore nearly 3-miles of scenic and
historic part of Prospect that features old stone walls, rocky outcrops,
a brook, and fern thickets. The route also highlights a mid-19th
century wood road, an abandoned early town road, and part of the former
Quinnipiac Blue Trail with "Bluff Head" view.
The hike is moderate (Gently rising/temperate terrain
with occasional obstacles).
