TWO BIG SHOUT OUTS!

-->
A big shout out goes to Sandy Russell Kane who notified us that a tree had come down and was making the yellow trail at Kathan Woods impassable by the “beautiful bridge”. Also to the neighbor with chainsaw in hand and kids in toe who helped clear the area. This is true stewardship in action and is what Prospect is all about. Whenever there is a need people are always there to lend a hand!

The beautiful bridge that Sandy is speaking of is “The Joyce C. Kathan Memorial Bridge” and was constructed by Matt Spofford as part of his Senior Project with a dedication/ribbon cutting on PLT 21st Annual Fall Hike 10/26/14

In order to help prevent erosion railroad ties will be put in place utilizing rebar. We will also continue with the clean up of the yellow trail from recent storm. We will be supplying a
--> generator for any power tools but still require chain saws, picks & shovels and heavy duty drills-along with bits to drill holes for the rebar. For planning purposes RSVP and if you are able to bring any tools.
Thank You, Bill Rinckel PLT President, 203-996-6077
