How Many Hands Does It Take?

Just like predicted, fun and friends along with many hands make for light work! Let’s put our hands together and a big thank you goes out to Robert H, Peter M, Larry S, John D, John T, Bill R, and Lisa S. for a successful Helping Hands Event at Kathan Woods.

How many guys does it take to dig a trench?
1 and 3 to watch plus 1 girl to take a picture.

Looks like someone is dancing in the background,
like I said fun with friends who can ask for anything more!

In several areas ties were installed as water breaks to help with erosion control along the Old Town Rd. and some more of the downed tree was cleared along the yellow trail.

Drilling holes for the rebar.

Master Scouts always come prepared.
In a pinch use your water bottle as a level.

One of the three water breaks that were installed.

Job well done!

If you missed yesterdays event don’t worry, there are many ways that you can Lead a Helping Hand to the Prospect Land Trust. Join us at the Prospect Public Library on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm to learn how you can help and to share your ideas. We will always have days that require work on site at one of our properties but also welcome the community to become property monitors by giving us your input about our trails, any concerns noted and work that might need to be done.
