Bird-friendly Plants at Home - a new webinar series from Audubon CT

I hope that soon as a group we will once again be able to visit the Prospect Land Trust Urban Oasis Garden at McGrath Park. But for now, we just have to visit while we can as individuals to see what the Spring brings to the garden. If you do visit the garden and have any photos, please share. We would love to be able to add them to our Photo Journal of what is happening, how the community views the garden, what plants, animals and insects you are seeing.

With us all staying close to home and doing more in our own back yards Prospect Land Trust wanted to share an upcoming on-line event to help bring a little bit of the Oasis Garden home to you.

Bird-friendly Plants at Home - a new webinar series from Audubon CT

This free interactive course will focus on bird friendly plantings that you can add to your home landscape. With the right plants, any space—from a small container on your patio to an acre of your backyard—you can add beauty to your space while helping birds and wildlife too.

In this four-part workshop, Audubon naturalists and birding experts will provide an in-depth look at the things you can do to make your outdoor spaces more bird-friendly for our year-round avian residents as well as feathered friends who stopover during their migration journeys.
