Prospect Land Trust’s 25^th Annual Fall Hike

It’s that time again and what living in New England is all about. The Fall foliage has never let us down, and the weather has always been refreshing!  So, join us Sunday, October 21 at 2:00pm for the 25^th Annual Fall Hike.

This year’s hike will cover two different properties. The first section of the hike will bring hikers through Prospect Land Trust’s Kathan Woods trail system with a focus on its blue blazed trail. The second stretch of the hike will lead into the neighboring RWA property which at this time is not open to the public to see part of what is hoped to be a future extension of the Quinnipiac Blue Trail. Hikers will hike the proposed trail through the RWA down to route 68 and than backtrack to the trail head.

This hike is a moderate hike with rising/temperate terrain with a steep incline section on the RWA property. Heavy rain cancels; no dogs please; no registration.

Meet leaders Suzi Porter and Bill Rinckel at the trail head located at Boardman Drive cud-de-sac on Sunday, October 21 at 2:00pm

Directions: Follow Rt68 (traveling towards Cheshire) and take a left onto Plank Rd. Take your first left onto Boardman Dr., and follow the road to the end of the cul-de-sac.
